Day 1: INTRO TO FREEDIVING COVERS:
20 min briefing
2 minutes of meditation
Measuring pulse, armspan, breathhold time and respiratory volume
Survival floating
Mask/snorkel/fin use
Equalizing of the ears
Down the rope
Duckdiving
and Logbook use
Day 2: RESCUE FOR FREEDIVERS COVERS:
How to be a safety
Transport of a victim.
Exiting a victim
Legcramp removal
Dealing with a panicking swimmer
Intro to freediving can get done on any event day.
Day 3: NAVIGATION FOR FREEDIVERS COVERS:
briefing:
-reading tide charts
-recognition of currents
-time management
-how to make a fix
-compass use
Practice:
-predict jump in time
-creating a fix
-recognition of currents
-applying a drift correction (optional)
-drift dive (optional)
-compass use (optional)
Day 4: WEIGHT USE & ROPE WORK COVERS:
Briefing:
-knot practice, bowline, clovehitch, daisy chain and storage.
-A lecture on weight use.
-Make your own syringe depth meter
-Compression of the lungs
Practice
-weightbelt donning with 2lbs
-weightbelt removal
-Setting up a dive line
-identifying the neutral point
-Gliding
Day 0 : COACH TRAINING & MEDIC FIRST AID
(Day 0 is the day before any event)

- Role play
- Monkey see monkey do
- Managing group pressure
- Participants with traumas

Practice
- Participation in the teaching of real students.
- Conducting a 5 minute part of the briefing

THINGS TO BRING:
• Y Slippers that can get wet for foot protection.
• Sun protection. T-shirts/ rashguard/ swim caps and leggings.

• Bring food for the day.
• your gopro and a bungy cord to tie the camera accros your chest to keep your hands free.
• An ID to exchange for your rental gear
• A water bottle to keep you hydrated, you can refill at our filling station.
• Headlamp or torch for the night (sometimes there is no power)
• 100 peso to use the shower facilities of locals that live besides the dive spots.
• There is no reliable ATM so bring cash
OPTIONAL
• 12cc syringe to use as depthmeter
• 10 meter of 5mm rope to have your private diveline
• A waterproof watch that reads seconds, preferable with a compass
• Mobile apps "Capture" and "Share it" for file tranfer
• Mobile app "Open CPN for offline navigation
• Vinegar or Zinc oxide + Calamine from Mercury drug store against jelly stings
THINGS TO REMEMBER:
• Don't swim, snorkel, or dive alone. Always have a buddy when in the water.
• Many people get sunburned while swimming or snorkeling, you simply don't feel it's happening until its to late. Make sure to swim and snorkel with a T shirt on.
•Please don’t bring alcoholic drinks or other narcotics, manage your trash, don’t leave light stuff laying around cause occasional gusts of wind will blow them in the sea.

HOW TO GET THERE / ITINERARY
By public transport,
05:00 am to stay ahead of the traffic. Take a bus from either JAM Bus Station Cubao or JAM Bus Station Gil Puyat to BATANGAS GRAND TERMINAL (Php 165) it's a good place to have breakfast and buy your food for the day. (Please PM the group chat once your here)
07:00 jeepney to ANILAO (Php 35). (or if the jeep is slow to fill up, first take a jeep to Bauan and then an other one to Mabini Anilao (20 peso)
(If your lucky there is a Jeep going to Mt Gulagod baboy, it passes our place)
08:00 tricycle to LIGAYA BARANGAY HALL (Php 80 per tricycle)
