Terms and conditions:
Please note that the Php700 dp is non-refundable if a participant cancels for whatever personal reason. It is also non-transferrable to another schedule unless you requested the rebook 2 weeks before the event.
The downpayment is transferrable to another person who is not yet on the list (same event date) .
Itinerary (average pace) :
DAY 0
10:00 PM - Assembly at Mcdo Panay Ave (infront of MRT quezon ave and centris)
10:30 PM - Estimated time of departure
Day 1
3:00 AM - ETA Ampucao, Itogon: Coordinator will register and secure local guides; Participants can prepare their things for the trek amd eat light meals sold at the shops near the registration area
3:45 AM - Stamp and orientation
4:00 AM - Start Trek
6:00 AM - Sunrise at Ambunao Paoay Peak
8:00 AM - Gungal Rock formation, quick snacks while waiting for your turn to take a picture at the rock formation
9:00 AM - resume trek to summit
10:00 AM - ETA Summit
10:30 AM - Start Trek down
11:30 AM - sari sari stores along the way, you can eat snacks or have your brunch here
12:30 PM - Sta. Fe exit, van will be waiting for us there. You can wash up/ change clothes, have your lunch
1:30 PM - Burnham Park/Free time to go to session, market, etc
3:30 pm - drive straight to manila or have a short dinner stop over at pangasinan
8:00 PM - ETA mcdo panay ave/MRT Q.Ave(drop off)
Things to bring:
1. Jacket/sweater
2. Disposable raincoat (always be prepared)
3. 1 liter water (depends on how much you consume for a 6-8 hour trek)
4. Trail snacks
5. Flashlight/headlamp (trek starts at 4am)
6. Packed Brunch (there are shops that sell viands after summit or bring your own baon)
7. Trekking pole (only if you are used to it)
8. Extra clothes & slippers (you can leave this at the van before you hike and get them after the hike
Reminders:
- Please do not throw away any trash along the trail or anywhere during the hike. Put your wrappers and any garbage in a plastic bag inside your bag and dispose of it after we exit.
- Please do not vandalize or try to destroy any tree/rock formation
- Do not feed the animals you will meet along the trail. Most of the food we bring (especially chocolates) are bad for the animals
- Give way to other hikers who are carrying heavy bags
